I’m Krystal, creator of Halcyon Celebrations, and I am honored that you are considering me to be a part of such an important day in your lives!
When I decided to create a wedding officiating business, the word that my clients have been giving back to me year after year was: calm. I have a special way of bringing a sense of calm and peace to the day that resonates with even the most nervous of couples heading down the aisle. I will be there to support you, offer a hand to hold, a shoulder to steady you, and a gentle smile as you prepare to walk down the aisle and commit your love to one another. I want to be that calming presence at the front of the room that is there to provide peace and reassurance for you as you say your vows and declare ‘I do!’ This is your moment – let’s tell the story and celebrate in the magic of your love!
My Approach
I’ve helped couples throughout their wedding feel steady, seen, and fully present in one of life’s most meaningful moments. As a Minnesota officiant, every ceremony I create is fully customized, inclusive, and centered on your story. Whether your celebration is intimate or grand, spiritual or secular, traditional or modern, my goal is always to create a moment that is truly yours.
Why the name Halcyon?
You may have heard the term “Halcyon Days” referring to a series of calm weather days often experienced in mid-winter. It is borrowed from Greek mythology and reminds us of a lovers tale that evokes emotions of calm, tranquility and happiness. I wanted to carry the theme of calm and peace with me into your wedding day. The moment you vow to commit your life to another should be filled with joy and create memories of your enduring love for one another.
